Dr. Thomas Ashley Haywood

Dr. Thomas Ashley Haywood, Jr. passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born in Candor, NC in 1931 and graduated from Davidson College in 1953 and Emory School of Dentistry in 1957. He served two years in the Army Dental Corps, mostly in Alaska during the transition to statehood. He practiced dentistry on Main Street in Alpharetta until his retirement. Family includes his longtime companion, Frances Morgan, her nieces and nephews Randy (Kay) Black, Jan (Larry) Gochnauer, and Stephen Merritt. Graveside service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Tucker, GA on Friday at 3:00 pm. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home
