Edith Flury Thomas

Mrs. Edith Flury Thomas, 97, of Winder, GA went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn T. Moore of Winder, GA, Frances T. Bailey of Cumming, GA; and son-in-law, Edward Mann of Iola, KS; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Thomas; daughter, Mary T. Mann; grandson, Joseph Mann; 3 sisters and 1 brother. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and a friend known to all as Teta or NeNe. She loved being with her family, flowers, fishing and playing cards. Family and friends will assemble at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur for viewing Thursday 14th, 7:00- 9:00. Graveside services for Mrs. Thomas will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on Friday 15th at 11:00 AM.
