Obituary for Edward James Wickson

Edward James Wickson died Friday at home with his wife and children at the age of 98.
Edward is survived by his wife, Ann Marie, Daughters Mary Ann and Barbara, Sons, Thomas and John and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Edward Jr.
Edward was born in 1920 in the Bronx, New York. He graduated from UC Berkeley in 1942 with a degree in chemistry. He enlisted in the army during WWII and served in the 441st Counter Intelligence Corps, then worked for Exxon for 31 years. He married Ann Marie Stapleton, in 1952.
Visitation is Sunday 3-5 at A.S. Turner funeral home at 2773 North Decatur Rd. A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday at 10AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary church at 2855 Briarcliff Rd., NE.
