Eleanor H. Perkins

Eleanor Hardy Perkins, 85, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018. Born August 11, 1932 in Milledgeville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas D. and Madge Eskew Hardy. Eleanor moved to Avondale Estates in High School and soon thereafter began dating the love of her life – Marion ‘Perk’ Perkins.

Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Marion L ‘Perk’ Perkins; daughter, Debbie Geiger and her husband, Ken; son, Phil Perkins and his wife, Julie; five grandchildren, Trent and Jonnie Geiger, Emily Geiger Mercier, and Katie and Rachel Perkins; three great grandchildren, Avery and Olivia Geiger, and Regan Mercier; and many more loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at A.S. Turner & Sons. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, Georgia, with interment to follow at Indian Creek Cemetery, Clarkston, Georgia.
