Eleanor will be missed for the bold, creative and passionate way she lived her life. She leaves a legacy of music, painting, teaching, venturing all over the world, always remembering birthdays, loving the mountains of NC, and being a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend to many. She had an infectious optimism that endeared her to her communities. Her greatest joy was that of being of service to others.

Her family offers a special thanks to all the people who lovingly tended to her body and heart during her last challenging years, especially the Monclaire at Clairmont Place staff. A memorial service will be held at a date yet to be determined. Feel free to contact Sara Moylan at saramloja@gmail.com for updates.
