Mrs. Eleanor Raettig Chadwick, 93, of Decatur went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2010. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Decatur and at one time the owner and operator of the Gift Wrap Shop located in Buckhead. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Walter R. Chadwick and grandsons Kurt and Josh Chadwick. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Gaelyn Chadwick, Walter Chadwick, Dennis and Janet Chadwick, Alan and Lisa Chadwick; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother, Alvin Raettig; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will follow at the Historic Decatur Cemetery.
