Elizabeth Ann Thompson

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann May Thompson, 86, wife of the late Marion Thompson of Atlanta, was born December 25, 1931 in Catawba, South Carolina and passed away February 20, 2018. She is survived by her children Robert and Jenna Thompson, Mike Smith, Jeff Thompson, David and Vikki Thompson, and Alexis and Eddie Alfaro; grandchildren Laura and Jimmy Briscoe, Connor Thompson, Parker Thompson, Betty Thompson, Patty Thompson, Tori and Gordon Covington, and Leah Alfaro; great grandchildren Ashton Roberts and Sam Briscoe; sisters-in-law Mary Jo Cole and Nina May; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Betty was a graduate of Reinhardt Junior College and worked many years at Executone before retiring in 1994. A Memorial Service will be held Monday February 26, 2018 at 2 PM in the sanctuary of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Decatur, GA. There will be a private interment in the Church cemetery at 1:30. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local library or Oak Grove UMC. Special thanks to the Nurses and Aids from Encompass Hospice.
