Ellie Sue Gregg, formerly of Decatur, GA, passed away July 28th, 2012 in Monroe, GA. She was born June 11th, 1927 in Atlanta. Sue was preceeded in death by her parents Weyman P. and Willie Mae Spence Gregg and her brother Weyman P. Gregg Jr. Sue is survived by cousins John and Annabelle Spence, William J. and Penni Gregg, James M. and Mary Sue Gregg, Drucilla Gregg, a host of nieces and nephews, and special friend Robert Roberts of Decatur.
Sue enjoyed a successful career with H.U.D., Atlanta. She loved her church, the Atlanta Flames, the Atlanta Braves, reading, and her companion cats "Biscuit" and "Meow". Our heartfelt thanks go to the Staff of Summers Landing of Monroe, GA who loved and cared for Sue during the last two years of her life. Funeral arrangements by A.S. Turner Funeral Home, Decatur. Services at Sue's church, Lutheran Church of the Messiah, 465 Clairmont Avenue at Erie, Decatur, Georgia 30030. Services at 11 a.m., Monday July 30th, with visitation one hour prior, also at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Lutheran Church of the Messiah.
