Emily W. Hiller

Emily (Walton) Hiller was called to her eternal home on May 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Walton and her siblings Arnold Walton, J. T. Walton, Harold Walton, Mable (Walton) Davis and Tal Walton.

Emily was born July 30, 1925 in Turin, Georgia. She graduated from Starr High School. Emily worked as a secretary for Georgia Power Company in Atlanta where she met her husband, Ray H. Hiller. She played a key secretarial role for Ray Hiller and Associates, Inc. Emily and Ray were members of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta since their marriage in 1950.

Her greatest joy was nurturing her family and staying in close contact with her friends. Emily is survived by her husband Ray, children Kim Parker (Doug) of Appling, Georgia, Chip Hiller (Karen) of Alpharetta, and Carol Masters (Rick) of Oak Ridge, North Carolina, four granddaughters Jenna Parker, Kaley Sutphen (Tyler), Kristin Hiller and Wendi Hiller.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, May 22 at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (731 Peachtree St. NE., Atlanta, GA 30308).

The family requests that contributions in Emily's memory be made to the Lupus Foundation.
