Erin Brooke Filipiak

The sun rose with Erin Brooke Filipiak on February 13, 1999; the beautiful baby girl of Kimberly Burel and Jay Filipiak. She blessed this world with 22 years of love that could be felt by all of those around her. Growing up, Brooke loved to socialize with friends, family, and animals alike. Brooke was an athlete; She was a member of the Park View High School cheerleading squad as well as a competitive cheer team. Her beauty radiated from the inside out and beamed in her smile.
On June 22, 2021 the sun set with Brooke. Although her time here was short, her legacy will live on. Brooke made an anatomical gift in her final day, her heart, which will be used to save another’s life.
Brooke was preceded in death by her grandparents Mary & Bobby Chandler. She is survived by her parents Kim Burel and Jay Filipiak; sisters, Abby Burel and Madelyn Sumlar; grandparents, Roch and Elaine Filipiak; uncles: Rob Chandler, Bart Filipiak, and Reid Filipiak; and fur baby, Bruiser the yorkiepoo.
