The funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Shipp Roberts, 92, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, in the parlor of Oak Grove United Methodist Church with visitation preceding at 9:00 AM. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. She was born on August 28, 1921 to Vera McDonald Shipp and Clanton C. Shipp. She was preceded in death by her husband, Baron G. Roberts. She is survived by her daughters, Claire DeLand of Cornelia, Georgia and Kathryn Brannan of Jackson, Mississippi. She is also survived by four grandchildren and one great-grandson. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
