Evelyn Randall Schier

Evelyn Randall Schier, 96, of Decatur died on April 16, 2007. She is survived by four children, Gloria Philbin of Hialeah, FL, Michael A. Schier of Stone Mountain, Sarah Baker of Orlando, FL, Susan Smith of Acworth; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Schier was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and an avid gardener. Funeral services will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Thursday, April 19th at 1:30 pm. Interment at Decatur Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Odyssey Foundation, 2302 Parklake Dr., Ste. 150, Atlanta, GA 30345, or Alzheimer's Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., Clarksburg, MD 20871. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
