Foster Curtis Bryan

Foster Curtis Bryan passed away peacefully on August 11, 2017 surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his father, George Foster Bryan, his mother, Annathea Grace Bryan and his brother, Ralph Marlin Bryan. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elinor Ann Clingan Bryan; his children Foster Curtis Bryan, II, M.D. (Lynda), Dr. Lynn Ann Bryan and Dr. Jeffrey Christopher Bryan (Miho); grandchildren Foster Curtis Bryan, III, Matthew Jennings Bryan and Elinor Grace Bryan; his brother, James Alan Bryan (Barbara), sisters-in-law Mary Lois King, Janet Clingan, Carolyn Clingan, in addition to several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Foster was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Business Administration. He served in the United States Air Force in Fuchu, Japan, as a Draftsman and Airbrush Specialist, creating maps for military use. After an honorable discharge from the military, he worked at the National Credit Union Administration where he rose to the rank of Regional Director, directing both East and West Coast Divisions before retiring. Foster was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Fidelis Sunday School Class at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 4882 Lavista Road, Tucker, Georgia 30084.
