Frances Lois Bennett

Frances Lois Bennett, born November 2, 1919, died February 5, 2008.  Lois Bennett left her earthly home for her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 05, 2008.  God gently took her by ?His? hand and led her to her everlasting home.  She was a member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church for many years.  She has gone to meet her husband of 55 years, Lewis Clifford Bennett, Sr.  Other predeceased family members are mother and father, Harvey A. and Myrtle Knight Bennett; brothers, Edward Knight Bennett, William Fred Bennett, Robert (Bobby) Bennett; sisters, Betty Mae Harvey, Grace Fowler Crane; brothers-in-law, James C. Bradford and Shelton Lee Harvey; nephew, Byron Matthew Fowler, Jr.; niece, Patricia Fowler Hodge; and great niece, Jerrie Andrea Vessell and one little step grandchild which she adored, Hannah Brown.  Survivors are four step children, Aletha Martin & family, Charlotte (Ed) Blair & family, Mildred Harrison & family, Lewis C. Jr. (Mary Helen) Bennett & family; brothers, Bill (Nell) Bennett & family, Milford (Barbara) Bennett & family; sister Louelle B Bradford & family; sisters-in-law,  Mae Bennett & family, Nell Milam Bennett & family;  many many step grandchildren, great nieces and nephews and many many and many many great great grand nieces and nephews and was loved by each and every one.  Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
