Frances Stewart Thompson

Mrs. Frances Stewart Thompson, 87, of Lilburn died Wednesday, October 22, 2008.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Thompson.  Mrs. Thompson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lilburn, and the King’s Daughter Sunday School class.  She was a graduate of Brown Jr. High School of Atlanta, Girl’s High School and The University of Georgia. She retired as a medical technologist from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 1600 Clifton Rd., N.E., Atlanta, GA  30033. Surviving are her sisters, Nina Kathryn Stewart, Evelyn Stewart Creasy; brother-in-law, J. W. Creasy; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26 at two o’clock in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Ken Hall officiating.  Interment Arlington Memorial Park.  Those that wish may make contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 934048, Atlanta, GA  31193-4048.  The family will receive friends Saturday from six until eight o’clock at A. S. Turner & Sons.
