Frank Elmore Taylor

August 15, 1932 — October 24, 2013

Mr. Frank Elmore Taylor III, 81, a native of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Frank was born at Georgia Baptist Hospital to Frank and Nell Taylor. He was a graduate of Henry Grady High School and attended The University of Georgia where he was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity. He proudly served two years in the U.S. Navy aboard the Aircraft Carrier, USS Oriskany. Frank was an avid outdoorsman and hunter who was a founding member of The Flint River Sportsman's Club. Frank worked for 32 years at Dun and Bradstreet, Inc as an account executive. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Ann Vickers Romines and his eldest son Michael Douglas Taylor. Frank is survived by his sons: Gary C. Taylor and Daniel Steven Taylor; Daughters and son-in-laws: Lynda and Dennis Barnes, Julie and Allan Dodson; grandchildren: Angela Taylor, Kevin Taylor, Valerie Daziel, Samantha Kelly and Emily Quartarone; and one great grandson David Thomas Kelly. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM October 27th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and again on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
