Mr. Fred Moore, 88, of Stone Mountain passed away on Wednesday, March, 28, 2012. He was born in Mendota, VA to Dock William Moore and Sophia Breedon. Fred proudly served in the Army during WWII and was a member of Forrest Hills Baptist Church. He's preceded in death by his wife of 61 years Rosie Marie Wyatt and his grandson Jason Moore. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-laws: Hugh and Patti Moore and Douglas and Cathy Moore; sister Willie Mae Wolfe; grandchildren; Jennifer Heusing, Tiffany Bowen, Amy Hugens, Rebecca Manny, and Steve Moore; and his great grandsons; Eli Bowen, Porter Bowen and Cannon Heusing. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Dr. Ray Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington DC, 20090-6011. . The family will receive friends on Friday March 30, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
