George Issa Saboura

George Issa Saboura, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his immediate family, on the 16th of June 2012. George was born on the 27th of August 1928 and lived most of his life in Jerusalem where he was a well respected and distinguished man among his colleagues and peers. George immigrated to the United States in 1997 to live closer to his sons. Here in Marietta, GA he continued his role as a faithful husband, and loving father and grandfather. George is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia and his four sons, Issa-Chris, Elias George, Stefan-Charles and Majd George, their wives and 11 grandchildren. The Trisagion service will be held on Thursday June 21st at 7:30 PM at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 2045 Ponce De Leon Ave, Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Elias. Interment will be at Pineridge Memorial Park, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30152 at 2:00 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the building fund at St. Elias Orthodox Church, 2045 Ponce De Leon Ave., Atlanta, GA. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
