Georgia H. Williams Seifert

Georgia H. Williams Seifert, 78, of Atlanta died November 7, 2004.  She spent her formative years in Hattiesburg, MS.  She attended Stephens College, and graduated from the University of Mississippi.  In 1958 she moved to Atlanta, GA, with her husband, Alfred K. Williams, who came to be with the Emory University Dental School.  She was preceded in death by her first husband.  Later, she married James E. Seifert, and they had 20 years together.  Georgia loved life, and cherished her family and friends.  She enjoyed golf, bridge, and travel, and was active in the life of Clairmont Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her husband, James E. Seifert; children, Janet Hale Williams, Melanie L. Williams, Sharon Williams Ferrari and her husband Jerome J. Ferrari, Kathryn Seifert, Gretchen Seifert Hudson, Ann Seifert, James E. Seifert, II and his wife Cathy, Richard Allen Seifert and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Amanda Keaton Williams, Elizabeth Kyle Williams, Lauren Michelle Ferrari, Michael Jerome Ferrari, Linda vonWerssowetz, Meredith vonWerssowetz and her husband Shane Sauers, Laurie Hudson, George Hudson, Jennifer Hudson, Kevin Seifert, David Seifert, Erin Seifert, E. Joe Seifert, Richard Austin Seifert; 3 great grandchildren; beloved sister, Weezie H. Glenn Phillips; and brother, M. Allen Hale.  A private burial will be held at Decatur Cemetery on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at 9:30 am.  Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2004, at 11:00 am at Clairmont Presbyterian Church followed by a reception for friends in Milligan Hall.  Tributes may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.
