JOHNSON, Gerald W. “Jerry”
Gerald Winton Johnson, born March 20, 1934, died June 6, 2009 at his Big Canoe, GA home in the care of Compassionate Hospice of N. GA and in the arms of his loving family after a courageous year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. The body was cremated. He was predeceased by his parents Green Washington Johnson & Alma Robertson Johnson of Covington, GA. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn “Kaye” Keene Johnson, daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth & Scott Titlow of Dacula, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Jennifer Johnson of Perry, GA; and grandchildren, Laura Titlow, Keene & Kathryn Johnson. Jerry was a Chartered Life Underwriter, a member of the Society of Financial Service Professionals and a ’58 graduate of Georgia State College of Business Administration (now Georgia State University). The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, in the Broyles Center of Big Canoe Chapel with a memorial service lead by Rev. Lamar Helms following at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
