Geraldine Reynolds

September 24, 1913 — March 11, 2013

Geraldine Lee Reynolds, 99, of Atlanta passed away peacefully on Monday March 11, 2013 following a short illness. A native of Atlanta, she was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 64 years, John L. Reynolds. She is survived by her sons and their spouse, John (Sharon F.) Reynolds, Jr. and Robert C. (Margaret J.) Reynolds and grandchildren Ryan C. Reynolds, Morgan S. Reynolds and Dallas J. Reynolds. She was a long time member of Decatur First Baptist Church and the Adelphia Sunday School Class. Known as Jerry, she was loved by all who knew her and was well known for her cheerful nature and innate curiosity and interest in everyone she knew. Jerry and John traveled in retirement and enjoyed a long happy marriage together. Graveside services will be held at 1:45 pm Thursday March 14 at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons
