May 21, 2009 in Clarkston. Born in Lula, Georgia and long time resident of Gainesville, Georgia, Mrs. Butler was the daughter of James Edward Littlejohn and Laura Deadwyler. She was the wife of the late M.C. Butler. Survivors include her children, Dr. Mable B. Johnson; Mableton; James L. Butler; Clarkston, Nathaniel Butler; Atlanta, Joseph L. Butler; Houston, TX., Veolice D. Butler; Clarkston, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009 at WestviewCemetery, Lula, Ga. at 4:00 p.m.
