Mrs. Gladys Van Winkle Swindall of Decatur died Saturday, February 14, 2009. She is survived by her sons, David Swindall of St. Petersburg, FL, Philip Swindall of Duluth, Pat Swindall, Kevin Swindall, both of Johns Creek; daughter, Theresa Swindall of Atlanta; seventeen grandchildren; brothers, Norman Van Winkle of Dayton, OH, Carlos Van Winkle of Anniston, AL; sister, Marie Sprayberry of Greenville, SC and Mary Couser of Van Buren, MO. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 17th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Bill Wade officiating. Entombment will follow at Westview Abbey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
