Grace Jarrett Patrick

Grace Jarrett Patrick, loving mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great grandmother of five, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 10, at the age of 95.  Grace was born on July 1, 1927 in Atlanta, GA to Rena May and William Jarrett.  She was the youngest of six children which included three brothers and two sisters.  On June 18, 1950, she married Harold G. Patrick and they were married for sixty-six years. Together they raised and nurtured their children, Barry, Lynn, and Laurie.  Grace was a true southern woman who had a passion for her family and selflessly cared for them in every way.  She was an accomplished seamstress throughout her life creating every stitch of clothing her children wore growing up.  She also loved reading about and trying new recipes and sharing them with everyone.  She was many things to many people but perhaps most well known to all for her ever present beautiful smile and genteel spirit.  Grace was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, and all of her siblings.  Her husband, Harold passed away in 2016.  She is survived by her children: Barry Patrick of Conyers, GA (wife Kim, grandchildren Megan and Kaitie, and great grandchildren Aiden and Grady), Lynn Jenkins of Chesterfield, MO (husband Clay, grandchildren Tara and Dean, and great grandchildren Harper and Evy), and Laurie Jennings of Flowery Branch, GA (husband Randy, grandchildren Justin, Summer, and Skylar, and great grandchild, Jax).
