Helen Demopoulos

Helen Fessopulos Demopoulos of Atlanta passed away Monday. She was born in Savannah, Georgia to John and Angela Fessopulos, spent her early adulthood in Jacksonville Florida, and later settled in Atlanta. She is preceded in death by her husband of more than sixty years Demosthenes "Rocky" Demopoulos along with her sister Mary Carellas and brother James Fessopulos.
Survivors include sisters Georgia Lamas of Savannah and Ethel Fessopulos of Jacksonville as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was an avid gardener and excellent cook and homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the Church in various capacities. Services will be held on Friday December 4th at 1pm at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation on Clairmont Road in Atlanta with the burial in Savannah. Contributions may be made to the Church.
