Hugh Wilson Cox

Hugh Wilson Cox, 82, of Stone Mountain, GA, died Friday, January 25, 2012. Born in Cartersville, GA, on September 20, 1930, Hugh was the son of John Wesley Cox and Drucilla Griggs Cox. He retired from Delta Airlines after 30 years of service, most of it in marketing. A veteran of the Korean War, Hugh served in the U.S. Army, assigned to the Army Security Agency at Kagnew Station, Asmara, Eritrea (formerly Ethiopia). He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Atlanta. Survivors include his life partner of 46 years, Ben Garrett of Stone Mountain; special niece, Jo Anne Fisher of Alpharetta, GA and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
