Ikechi John Kalu
August 22, 1974 — March 4, 2014
Ikechi John Kalu, 39, passed away on March 4th, 2014 from sickle cell complications. He was born in 1975 to Mr. and Mrs. John Chicoco Kalu and is survived by his son, John Kalu; niece, Ina Kalu; nephew, Wesley Kalu and a host of siblings and relatives. To say Ikechi will be missed is an understatement. A hard worker and resilient fighter until the end, he never complained nor made excuses. He was a loving and dedicated father, brother, uncle, nephew and friend whose absence leaves a void within us. His funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, 4/12/2014 at the Assembly of God Tabernacle, 1580 Agape Way, Decatur.
