Mrs. Irene “Rena” Soublis, 62, of Dunwoody died Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Rena, a native of Pireaus, Greece, was a loving, caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and her memory will be cherished by all she touched. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Panagiotis (Pete) Soublis; son and daughter-in-law, George and Leigh Ann Soublis of Woodstock; daughter and son-in-law, Theodora and Michael Willis of Alpharetta; mother, Smaro Pefines of Decatur; and grandchildren, Nicholas Soublis, Lorelei Willis. Funeral services will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 22nd. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may made to The American Lung Assoc., 2452 Spring Rd., Smyrna, GA 30080. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21st at A. S. Turner & Sons.
