Iris A. Prince

Iris A. Prince, age 72, of Decatur, Georgia, passed away on July 1, 2008.  Iris retired to Georgia last year.  She was born in Arkansas and resided in Michigan most of her adult life.  She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Prince, her mother, Amy Prince, and her brother, Dennis Prince.  She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Miles and her husband Ken Miles, Jaime Blakley and her husband Mark Blakley, and her son, Blake Flood and his wife Michelle Flood.  Also, she is survived by her grandchildren, Shannon Maddox and her husband Dave Maddox, Blair Nykamp and her husband Lou Nykamp, Kacy Blakley, Daniel Blakley, Kelsey Flood, and her great grandchildren, Alison Maddox, Garret Maddox, Eden Nykamp and Lucas Nykamp.  A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 5, 2008 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Baptist Church, 1396 Nelms Dr., Decatur, GA  30033, (404) 636-7924.  Dr. Eddie Mosley will be officiating.  She will be in state at the church prior to the service from 9 - 10 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to the American Lung Association or the charity of one's choice in Iris's honor.
