Isabel Threlkeld Burroughs

Mrs. Isabel Burroughs, of Tucker, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007. She was a resident of Tucker for many years. Mrs. Burroughs was a life long and active member of Rehoboth Presbyterian Church and was also their oldest member. Mrs. Burroughs had a passion for gardening and spent many hours tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Burroughs, who died in 1986. Mrs. Burroughs is survived by her son, David Burroughs of Lawrenceville; daughter, Carol Lowe of Atlanta; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 24th at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joel Tolbert and Rev. Paul Ard officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rehoboth Presbyterian Church, 2729 Lawrenceville Hwy., Decatur, GA 30030. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
