J. Wallace White

J. Wallace White, 67, of Stone Mountain, died February 22, 2005.  He was a member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church for many years. He was in the Army Reserve for three years.  He graduated from Atlanta Law School.  Mr. White was an Officer at large with the State Board of Probation and he was retired from the Georgia Department of Labor, Fraud & Inviestigation.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy Doss White of Stone Mountain; a brother, Mr. & Mrs. Robert Calvin White of Atlanta; a niece, Jill Pullen of Stone Mountain.  The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 12 PM at the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Dr. T. Michael Davis officiating.  Burial will be at 2 PM at Oconee Baptist Churchyard in Commerce, GA.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to Scott Boulevard Baptist Church, 2532 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Thursday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
