Mr. Jack Lanier Evans of Maysville died Monday, March 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Evans, Jr. Mr. Evans is survived by his wife of 33 years, Jean Evans; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Kay and Rodney Kittrell, Mary Ellen and Von Wynn, Lisa and Duane Holland; son, Steve Evans; sisters, Joyce Baxter and her husband Maxie, Sara O’Quinn; brother, Kirby Evans; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 1at Melwood Cemetery. Rev. Eric Landress will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Wednesday, March 31at A. S. Turner & Sons.
