Jackie Layne Barrett

Jackie Layne Barrett, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. She was a retired preschool teacher for 30 years at St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church. Mrs. Barrett was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Bradley; son, Chadwick Barrett and wife Jennifer of Snellville; daughter, Kristy Barrett of Orlando, FL; her puppy, Lilly; four sisters; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church, Stone Mountain with Rev. Ellynda Lipsey and Rev. Warren Harbert officiating. Interment to follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may send contributions to St. Timothy’s United Methodist Church, 5365 Memorial Dr., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. The family will receive friends Friday, April 1st from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons
