Jacquelyn Campbell Aldridge

July 20, 1933 — November 5, 2009

Jacqueline Aldridge "Jackie" of Tucker died Thursday, November 5, 2009 from pneumonia.  Jackie was born 7/20/1933 in Boaz, Alabama to Madge and John Willis Campbell.  Jackie grew up in Alabama and received her bachelor's in elementary education.  After marrying Gilbreth Aldridge, Jackie and her husband moved to the Atlanta-area where they started their family and careers in elementary education.  Throughout her life, Jackie was a very devoted mother and was an active member of the Methodist Church.  Jackie will be remembered for her gentle Southern grace and accomplished piano and organ skills.  Jackie is survived by her 3 children:  Donna Williams, Jeffrey Aldridge, and Phillip Aldridge; and 7 grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 8, 2009 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Earnie Burfitt officiating.  Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons (404) 292-1551.
