James Emerson "Chic" Awtry

James Emerson "Chic" Awtry, 89, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on Friday October 22, 2015. A native of Atlanta, he proudly served his country during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a retired executive from Georgia Power Company. He is survived by his son, David Awtry; step sons, Mike, Ray and David Hagler, their spouses and families. His funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Sunday October 25th at the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with interment to follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening October 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
