James G. Shea

Mr. James G. Shea, 79, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009.  He was a long-time member of the Atlanta/Northlake Elks Lodge #78. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the war in Korea on board USS Franklin D. Roosevelt.  Mr. Shea retired from Rhodes Furniture Company as an advertising executive.    Mr. Shea was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Shea.  He is survived by his son, James Edward Shea; daughter, Linda Lora Shea, both of Atlanta; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeremy Hamm of Alpharetta; grandson, Jacob Griffin Hamm; and granddaughter, Eva Marie Hamm. A celebration of life event will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at the Atlanta/Northlake Elks Lodge #78, 1775 Montreal Rd., Tucker, GA 30084. A. S. Turner & Sons.
