James Hamilton

James “Jimmy” Hamilton, 77, of Decatur passed away Tuesday,December 18, 2018. Jimmy was a 1963 graduate of Briarcliff High School, and was employed by Jimco. Jimmy was an active member of Decatur First Baptist Church and a member of the Alert Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Citizen Advocacy of Atlanta & DeKalb and served on the Board. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Jeanett Hamilton. He is survived by his sister, Susan Sellman of Decatur; nephew Theodore and Shannon Sellman and great nephew, Theodore Sellman, Jr. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Decatur First Baptist Church with Rev. Peter Rhea Jones officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A.S.
