Jerry Luverne Mullins

July 17, 1976 — December 13, 2014

Jerry "Jeremiah" Luverne Mullins, Jr, 38, of Snellville, GA died Saturday, December 13, 2014. He was at his home "watching" Kentucky basketball with his family. He battled esophageal cancer 2 ½ years.

Jeremiah was born July 17, 1976 in Pensacola, FL to Jerry and Peggy (Kiper) Mullins. He and his younger sister, KarolAnn, moved around with their parents who are officers with The Salvation Army in the Kentucky-Tennessee Division. He attended Hopkinsville High School in Hopkinsville, KY, and after graduation went to Asbury College where he earned a degree in Accounting. After college Jeremiah moved to Atlanta and started working at The Salvation Army Southern Territorial Headquarters. He lived in Atlanta during the last 16 years working with The Salvation Army at Southern Territorial Headquarters, The Georgia Division, and Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command.

He married Emily Brockinton Mullins in August 6, 2011, in Central, SC.

He is survived by his wife, Emily Mullins; his parents, Jerry and Peggy (Kiper) Mullins; sister, KarolAnn Willis; two nieces, Elizabeth Howard and Greenlee Willis; and his nephew Charles "Luke" Willis.
