Mrs. Jimmie Frances Hammond, 91, of Covington died Tuesday, July 7, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmie Lewis Adamson and Samuel Jones Hammond, and her son, Jimmie Lewis Adamson, Jr. A beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Hammond is survived by children, Margaret and Thomas D. Houston of Ludowici, Samuel W and Wanda Hammond of Griffin, Judy Sinnemon of Mansfield; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 9at 2 p.m. in Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 8 at A. S. Turner & Sons.
