Mrs. Jimmie R. Cowart “Nana”, 78, of Tucker, GA died Sunday, April 4, 2010. Mrs. Cowart was a very loving and giving person. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Billy E. Cowart. Mrs. Cowart is survived by her sons, Michael Cowart, Eddie Cowart; daughter, Vickie Woods; sister, Peggy Nix, five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 A. M. at Valley Brook Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 - 4 P.M. and from 6 - 8 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
