Jimmie Tyrone Jackson, Sr.

Betty Jean Jackson helped bring Jimmie Tyrone Jackson, a strong balanced minded king of a man into this world the 15th day of October 1958. Bringing laughter and happiness to Jimmie Lee Jackson, doctors and nurses at Herman Kiefer Hospital in Wayne County, Detroit, Michigan. Jimmie T. Jackson gained his wings July 7,2022.

He loved people, fishing, animals, cooking, gardening, and putting a new part on his vehicle he had. Mostly he loved is family and friends. As a young man he acquired and utilized skills to provide; until he was of age to enlist in the military, serving the Nation. Soon he met and married Vickie L. Crow, going on to raise Lourdes Joanna Jean Jackson and Jimmie Tyrone Jackson, Jr.

Jimmie did not leave us here on earth empty minded. He was always a helpful man mentally and emotionally enriching the mind for positive outcomes in life. He lives with in all of us. He leaves us not with just his love and joy, but for his family; Douglas, Barry, Valerie, Lourdes, Jimmie Jr., Judea, Xavier, Love, Joy, Reggie, Vickie, cousins, the Caldwell’s, the Williams’, and friends of our family, he leaves us here with a foundation of knowledge.

He will always be the lighting and thunder in tropical storms. A mighty man beating the drums of life!
