Mr. John Forrest Rey, Sr., 80, of Atlanta died Tuesday, June 2, 2009. He was a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and retired as an engineer with Lockheed after 36 years. Mr. Rey was a member of the Atlanta-Northlake Elks Lodge and Briarlake Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Agnes Rey; daughter, Susan Rey of Sandy Springs; son, Johnny Rey and his wife Monica of Dacula; brother, Dr. Charles Rey; sisters, Frances Forrester and Martha Christopher; grandchildren, Justin Rey and Jessie Rey; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2009. Burial will follow at Turner Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
