John Franklin Morgan, Jr.

John Franklin Morgan, Jr., age 76 of Atlanta passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Mr. Morgan was a veteran of the U S Army and a graduate of Georgia State University. He retired as a coordinator for Georgia State Department of Human Resources. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Merritt and is survived by his sisters, Frances Morgan, Velma Black, and her husband, George; brother-in-law, Bobby Merritt; nephews, Randy Black and Stephen Merritt; niece, Jan Black Gochnauer. Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm on Monday October 15th with Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory
