Mr. John Gordon Morris, III of Dacula died Monday, May 4, 2009. He was a graduate of Newberry College and Mercer University and was a certified public accountant. Mr. Morris was a decorated officer serving in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife Rena Zimmerman Morris; children, John Gordon Morris, IV and his wife Sharon Renee, Shannon Morris Summerville; grandchildren, Kyle William Storer, and John Allen Morris. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Harmony Grove United Methodist Church with Dr. Richard C. Long officiating. A reception will follow after the service.
