John Jackson Smith, Sr.

Mr. John J. Smith, Sr. passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010. He is survived by his sons, John J. Smith, Jr. and Stan Smith; grandson, John Randall Smith; great granddaughter, Alexis Ann Smith; sister, Jewell E. May; brother, Iowa Pierce Smith; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7. Interment will follow in Helena, GA. The family will receive friends from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
