John Tidwell Hampton

John T. Hampton, 77, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Halcyon Hospice in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents Amy Tidwell and Ted M. Hampton, Sr; brother Ted M. Hampton, Jr; and niece, Jennifer Hampton. He is survived by sister-in-law, Betty "Dot" Hampton of Alpharetta; niece, Kathy Hampton of Alpharetta; great-nephew Jim Kraul of Alpharetta; great-niece Karen Kraul of Charleston, SC; several cousins and many special friends. Visitation will be Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 3 - 5 PM at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA. A private burial will be held in Lagrange, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the sender's choice.
