Mr. Johnny P. Rolader, 80, a longtime resident of Atlanta and retired Area Supervisor with the City of Atlanta passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, June, 18, 2010. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Elena Evelyn Moore Rolader. Mr. Rolader was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Army and was a graduate of Mercer University with a degree in Ministry of Education. He was a former member of Candler Park Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for a number of years and was currently a member of Druid Hills Baptist Church. Johnny was an outstanding citizen and was loved by everyone he touched. He will be extremely missed. Surviving are his sons, Chuck Rolader, Scott Rolader; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Manus; brother, Windon Rolader; Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 22 at 2PM in the Chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Reverend Mimi Walker and Reverend Frederick A. Plate officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Lawrenceville. Friends are invited to visit with the family Sunday and Monday from 2 until 4PM and 6 until 8PM at A. S. Turner & Sons.
