Joseph A. Farnell, Jr.

Joseph A. Farnell, JR. age 78 of Clarkston passed away on June 30, 2022.  Joe was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.  He was an avid golfer and was a member of the Senior Golf Association of Atlanta or SGAA.  Joe really enjoyed traveling, especially cruising.  Alaska was his favorite destination.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Ann Farnell; son, Jason Farnell; granddaughter, Ava Farnell; sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Robert Hay; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Murphy-Harpst Children’s Centers, Attn: L. Susan Stroup, 740 Fletcher Street, Cedartown, GA 30125 in memory of Joseph A. Farnell, Jr.  Joe was very passionate about this organization.  A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
