Joseph Thomas Raffa

Lt. Col. Joseph T. Raffa, PhD, passed away on Friday, November 1st, 2013 with his family by his side at the age of 97. Joe spent his life and career as a respected christian psychologist spreading God's love and selflessly helping those in needed it most; conducting his life according to his verse, Isaiah 1:18 " Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years Audrey; three daughters; Rosalind, Lydia and Cynthia; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be at 2: 00 PM on Saturday November 9th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons. Interment will follow with full military honors at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00-2:00 PM on Saturday as well. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
