Joyce Marie Fleming

Joyce Marie Fleming of Tucker, GA passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, and her husband Charles Elmore Fleming. She is survived by her three children: Charles Elmore Fleming, Jr., Craig William Fleming, Cheryl Lynne Williams, her Daughter-in-laws Valerie Fleming and Debbie Shapaka, and her Son-in-law Lovick Williams. She is also survived by her seven Grand Children and three Great Grand Children. Joyce was born in Chicago, IL, but spent her later years in Georgia. She was a long time member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School, was a member of the Martha Circle, and sang in their choir. Music was an important part of her life. Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid gardner, and enjoyed playing the piano. She will be deeply missed for her loving compassion and dedication to her family. A memorial service will be held at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church on Memorial Drive, at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14th, 2014.
